Poster Artists of Distinction

These illustrators and graphic designers, under the direction of Becky Moore of Abrakadoodle of Dallas - Fort Worth/Mid Cities, were invited to create Poster Art featuring Abrakadoodle’s hero, Splat, the Arty Dog. Each came up with a unique camp-themed design. Thank you to Becky for coordinating this effort and to these wonderful artists for sharing their expertise and helping children to learn. Randy Fisher - Randy Graduated from Texas Tech in 1979 and got his first job in Dallas in 1980. He has worked at 3 different art studios over the years. For the past 7 years, he has been doing freelance graphic design for many clients. www.fisher-illustration.com

Jeff Moore – Inspired by Darrin Stevens from Bewitched, Jeff decided at a young age to pursue advertising and design as his career. After graduating from Louisiana State University in 1995, Jeff worked as a graphic designer at X Design in Baton Rouge, Louisiana after a brief stint as a freewheeling pizza man. Today, he is an Associate Creative Director at RSW Creative in Dallas, Texas, where he works on accounts for several Fortune 500 companies. www.rswcreative.com

Mark Ross – Mark Ross has more than 15 years experience in the world of illustration, graphic design and advertising. He spent 9 of those years on staff at Fossil, Studio 212°, and Vectrix creating illustration, in traditional and digital media.www.markrossstudio.com

Splat Goes Green

Saul Torres - With 20 years of experience in graphic design and advertising, Saul Torres has led creative teams at The Richards Group in Dallas and Comedy Central in New York, among others. His work has been recognized nationally and internationally, including a Clio and a piece in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress. Saul has taught advertising and design at Southern Methodist University and Texas A&M Commerce, where he is currently earning his MFA. www.rswcreative.com
