First of all from an administrative point of view, the Abrakadoodle Art Education program is perfect. It is well organized, and the lesson plans are well laid out. Students progress through the elements of art such as line, color, shape, etc. and create beautiful artworks in the process. Secondly, the Abrakadoodle Art Education program frees our classroom teachers from having to try to teach art. Since most of our teachers are not artists, they have, in the past, put a lot of emphasis on craft projects rather than art education. Even when provided with a curriculum, they tended to skip the drawing projects and focus primarily on the cut and paste or coloring lessons.
